Removing a listing

Most listings come from public business-licence records and OpenStreetMap. Sometimes those records describe a person rather than a storefront, show a home address, or are simply out of date. You can have that fixed.

If it's your business

Claim the listing. You can then hide your street address (for home-based businesses), correct anything, or ask us to remove the listing entirely.

If it shows your personal information

Open the listing and choose Report a problem → Remove my personal information, with an email we can reply to. A person handles these first, usually within two business days. We remove the information and make sure later data imports don't bring it back.

If the business has closed

Use Report a problem → This business has closed. We mark it closed and stop showing it in lists.
